We work with the largest Polish and international investment funds, private equity funds and REITs, and companies from the construction and development industries, as well as many other sectors of the economy, operating both in Poland and abroad.

Our real estate practice is consistently ranked as a leading practice in Poland and has acted for either buyer or seller on 14% of the total value of commercial real estate transactions in the last 5 years.

  • Planning multi-stage tax and legal structures for real estate transactions, including financing and insurance.
  • Analysing the legal status of real estate (due diligence).

Redefine Properties LTD

With its seat in RPA, listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, regarding the acquisition of a portfolio of 18 commercial properties (offices and retail shopping centres) in Poland in the amount of EUR 1.18 billion, regarded as the largest ever commercial real estate transaction on the Polish market.

Auchan Group

The French international retail group, on the acquisition of 91 hypermarkets in Poland, Russia, Romania and Ukraine, and 13 shopping centres in Russia and Romania from the company Metro AG (value of the transaction estimated at EUR 1.1 billion). Aerium Properties / Bainbridge Group, advising the private equity fund on the purchase of a shopping centre portfolio in Poland and the subsequent return lease of Carrefour hypermarkets operating within the shopping centres with a value of over EUR 1.5 billion.

mBank S.A.

Advising the fourth largest bank in Poland, part of the larger Commerzbank group, on its lease of office space at the Warsaw complex deve-loped by Golub GetHouse and Mennica Polska S.A.. The agreement is the second largest ever lease transaction on the Polish market and comprised consolidating a number of the Bank’s functions into one office.

Echo Polska Properties N.V. (EPP)

Advising on numerous transactions including the acquisition of seven office buildings (O3 Business Campus in Cracow (Phase I, II and III), Tryton Business House in Gdańsk, A4 Business Park in Katowice (Phase III) and Symetris Business Park in Łódź (Phases I and II) for a value of EUR 264 million. Also advising on the acquisition of Galeria Młociny shopping centre for an acquisition value of EUR 115 million and total project budget of approx. EUR 330 million. Advising on the acquisition of a real property at ul. Towarowa 22 (formerly known as Jupiter Centrum), in Warsaw for a value of EUR 120 million.

Advising on the acquisition from the Boryszew Group S.A. of real property located in the centre of Warsaw for the purposes of a high-tech office development. The net value of the transaction amounted to approx. PLN 96 million – one of the largest land investments in Poland.
