Experience

,,

I am an advocate and criminal law specialist, focusing particularly on white-collar crime.

As part of my professional practice, I handle cases involving financial crimes and cybercrime more broadly. I have experience with cases related to phishing and business email compromise fraud.

I participate in complex, multi-threaded and often multi-party proceedings concerning economic crime, including white-collar crime. I represent clients in both defence and representative capacities.

I work with leading entities in their industries on a daily basis, particularly in the banking and financial sectors, as well as with individuals, providing them with comprehensive legal assistance in criminal proceedings. I provide strategic advice at the pre-trial stage and represent clients before courts of all instances, including the Supreme Court, as well as before law enforcement authorities. I advise on criminal liability risks, paying particular attention to the needs of management. I also advise corporate clients on issues of collective liability and the mitigation of criminal law risks.

I am a member of the Women’s White Collar Defence Association (WWCDA), an international organisation of female lawyers specialising in defence in economic and regulatory matters. I am also actively involved in pro bono work in the field of civil rights and liberties.

Prior to joining the B2RLaw team, I gained professional experience working with organisations such as the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights and the Law Clinic at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw.
