I am a partner and member of the dispute resolution team. I manage the corporate disputes practice. I am an attorney registered with the Warsaw Bar Association. I gained my professional experience in law firms in Poland and abroad.

I advise and represent clients at all stages of proceedings before arbitration tribunals and ordinary courts. I specialise in resolving disputes relating to commercial law, unfair competition and economic criminal law. I have experience of independently and comprehensively handling cases for entrepreneurs from various sectors of the economy, including preparing comprehensive litigation strategies and lines of defence. I also advise clients at the pre-trial stage and participate in settlement negotiations.

I conduct internal audits and investigations into irregularities and abuses by managers and actions that are detrimental to business entities. I also provide support in other crisis situations. I play an active role in creating and implementing internal compliance procedures, and I deliver training to members of corporate bodies and management staff on compliance issues, including their rights and obligations and matters of management responsibility.

• Defence of members of the Management and Supervisory Boards of a company with a State Treasury shareholding against allegations of mismanagement. Cases concluded with full acquittals.
• Representing a leading IT equipment manufacturer in a case concerning the extortion of multi-million dollar discounts by one of its customers. Despite the debtor's concealment of assets, the case ended with the conviction of the perpetrator and the recovery of the extorted amounts.
• Defence of a representative of a capital investor who was charged with acting to the detriment of the company.
• Representing a company from an international energy group in a dispute with a former business partner. We have won the case several times before the Supreme Court and secured the restitution of wrongfully awarded amounts.
• Representing a Polish company from the energy industry, which is a part of an international capital group, in enforcement of claims from former management.

• Representing a leading developer in a dispute concerning compensation for the wrongful acquisition of land by the State Treasury. The case ended with the award of satisfactory compensation.
• Representing companies from a Scandinavian industrial capital group in exiting their investment in Poland. We reached a favourable settlement for the client, ensuring they exited the investment on satisfactory terms.
• Representing an investor in a dispute with a business partner who managed a group of companies in which the client had invested. The case ended with the buyout of his shares on terms that fully met his expectations.
• Conducting a dispute between the founder, one of the key investors, the remaining shareholders, and the Management Board. The case concerned exiting an investment that was under threat of compulsory buyout at an undervalued price. Through a series of court injunctions, we brought about fair negotiations, enabling the client to exit the investment with the expected profit.
• Effective defence of a client against allegations of a board member's liability for the company's obligations. The case ended with the lawsuit against our client being withdrawn.
• Effective legal action against a company that repeatedly refused to pay dividends despite high profits and a favourable market situation. The case ended with the payment of dividends.
